Hello!

Welcome to Katya Knits.

The Internet and Ravelry have made two women, living a half a world apart, into great friends.  Katya and Jody began corresponding in the summer of 2009, sharing their lives, their families and their knitting.  They have now formed a cooperative venture to bring Katya's designs to the world market.  Katya designs and writes her patterns in Russian and then translates them into English.  Jody reads Katya's translations and then works to shape Katya's words so that they will be easily understood by English speaking knitters.

Best regards from beautiful Siberia and Canada,

Katya Gorbacheva and Jody Campbell
